I'm usually not a fan of AI as it tends to lead to pretty bland character designs, but you've done pretty well in making them distinctive. Some of the facial expressions are a bit off, though. Anya's smile, for example, just looks like it has a different angle from the rest of her face.

I'll do my best with the facial expressions and take a look at the one you're talking about! I've reworked a few already :)
As for the updates, the next content update is coming end of this month (September) and is a huge one. The next one after this should be at the end of November, but it is still uncertain as I'm currently reworking Chapter 01 as well with the feedback I received. People who don't want to replay it won't have to and won't miss anything though :) And the wait between the next updates should be easier since there will be a LOT of content to go through!
