I'm speechless really. This game holds so much meaning and so many emotions. The loneliness, the failing at your dream, the not being good enough to do something because of something you can't control, the feeling like you have to go along with everything others say and tell you to do, then assumptions people always make up about you, the finding yourself in a place you never thought you'd be, a place your not sure you want to be, a place that's hurting you in the kindest way possible, where everyone does care about you, but at the same time, are killing you and will never understand you; maybe they don't care too.
The visuals showed the experience of depersonalization, derealization and psychosis so well. The bright colours, loud noises, odd visuals, dreary and somewhat scary/dangerous looking places. It's like a fever dream, and yet terrifying at the same time. And you know you're losing yourself. If you can get back, you don't know; all you can do is drift now.
This game brought out an incredibly immense amount of pain out of me. I don't know exactly why, but it'd not bad. I don't often get to feel my emotions without drowning in them. Thank you, your story telling is wonderful. And the ending music might be my new favorite song.
