Just wanted to add here that I had the same detection bug when it came to objects in the room being added when paused. However, afterwards the whole detection process broke down. It wouldn't detect when paused OR when not paused. Two new rooms got added and nothing was detected in them either.

This and pathfinding got a bit in the way of actually playing vs testing. ;) I know you guys are working on pathfinding already, but for the sake of completeness, the pathfinding code was especially flustered with guests using general purpose doors. I also had a cleaner who took a stroll to the back of the hotel and never made any more beds, but I assumed he just had an overlong cigarette break and fired him. :)

All that said, I need a tardis so I can play the finished game now. But that's not a bug, merely a feature request. ;)
