i enjoy your music a lot, but i can tell you a lot of people will give your work a miss that would be otherwise interested because of the use of obvious ai art, especially on a site thats largely other small artist like, well, you and i.  i can promise you even just filtered stock images would serve you better.

thanks for the opinion; I'm going to analyze some options over the weekend and try to put them into practice.
maybe work with all type or something like that

best luck c: I appreciate you taking the time to respond. Keep making beautiful music out there

If you would like any advice for getting started processing images in ways you find appealing feel free to poke me, old vet from the forum signature days lol

I used the most basic Dall-E to make these thumbs; Do you recommend something different?

I tried my last song thumb with another AI, with this pixel art style; Does it get better?

Its a very pretty cover!

I still recommend not using AI, but this looks way less obviously so if that's your goal.

Try finding stock art offered for free use and using pixellation tools if this is a style you like; pixatool is one on itchio off the top of my head but I know there's a free equivalent. I will contact you when I find it again.

thanks for the tips, they have helped a lot; unfortunately in the next two weeks I probably won't be able to make this change, but I liked the stock art + pixellation idea.

these AI pixel art have improved, but I agree with you: they are still fake

i really, really appreciate you taking the time to listen and experiment. Editing preexisting images is its own art form and i hope you can enjoy poking into it-- I'm a big fan of traditional collage using old magazines n stuff!

Collage really interesting; but just with that pixel-AI-style, my views/downloads have improved considerably. thanks for the tip; when I get more time, I'll try some better done thumbs
