This game is so precious to me. Thank you for creating this world and its lush detail., and these heartfelt characters.

weird take. Why do you feel that way? With sprite art, it's good to try your hand at making all kinds of things.

Oh this looks REALLY GOOD

Was this your first completed project? Getting any game to be feature complete is a commendable accomplishment.

Aww its always fun to see a new pong iteration :)

I have found this very useful! I struggle to use Godot at times and to understand all its options, but the menu options in this are really clear cut.

Ignore tha haters i love this

Hey bro, whats gling on on your life you felt the need to call me an idiot on my pride flag pack? U okay? Stressed?

these are so good :) one looks just like my house

i really, really appreciate you taking the time to listen and experiment. Editing preexisting images is its own art form and i hope you can enjoy poking into it-- I'm a big fan of traditional collage using old magazines n stuff!

Try finding stock art offered for free use and using pixellation tools if this is a style you like; pixatool is one on itchio off the top of my head but I know there's a free equivalent. I will contact you when I find it again.

Its a very pretty cover!

I still recommend not using AI, but this looks way less obviously so if that's your goal.

best luck c: I appreciate you taking the time to respond. Keep making beautiful music out there

If you would like any advice for getting started processing images in ways you find appealing feel free to poke me, old vet from the forum signature days lol

i enjoy your music a lot, but i can tell you a lot of people will give your work a miss that would be otherwise interested because of the use of obvious ai art, especially on a site thats largely other small artist like, well, you and i.  i can promise you even just filtered stock images would serve you better.

what... what happened here

why ya gotta use ai art covers tho...?

wow. your work is beautiful.

youre being weird.

hey.

it's because that trash tech is burning down the planet buddyroo

beautiful

wow!! what a wonderful set, especially in terms of how well they all go together.

fun!!!!

yo thank you for this. this is exactly what i needed

yeah

Really Fun

the first poem has made me obsessed thinking about it for days now

gone buckwild using this for my own site! i've learned so much about the anatomy of a webpage from this, too, changing it to be just so. thank you!

i have cried no less than three times from this game now, one just reading caps as my friend played it. razor sharp writing. thank you.

oh, i adored this.

would you consider making a pixbattler bundle / do you have one? i'd love to pick em all up at once

RPG Maker Web Blog's "Tutorials" category explains tons of the base game features and potential (largely for MZ) much more in-depth than the engine's native tooltips; for example, here's a tutorial on map-based enemy ecounters in the vanilla engine and how to control their spawning.
RPG-Maker . fr has an amazing documentation page for XP, which I imagine will be particularly useful since that's what's being distributed for free rn.

opengameart is a big library of open assets. the site's design is particularly great for quickly previewing music!

tossing a ton of links for AUDIO since i know it can be hard to find stuff that hits the sweet spot--
for more music, here's freemusicarchive. link provide set to filter for CC / public domain tracks.
freesound . org is for sound effects / music effects / background sounds
soundbible for more sound effects

public domain photos that will not jumpscare you with a trial period or whatever
free clip art that also won't ask for $

there are also ofc many free tools on itchio for creating assets; i need to go dig in my collections to see if i have any good ones i can plop down hahah

also QUICK FINAL TIP TO SAVE SOME GRIEF: if you have beautiful assets that mysteriously don't work and you can't figure out why, it's probably because the tileset size doesn't match that of the engine. smaller tilesets can easily be upscaled to larger sizes, but downscaling is harder. MZ in particular has an option to switch between some tileset sizes under the Database on the System 2 tab (near the top).

beautiful!

sheets are the norm. there are sprite sheet splitter sites you can find easy king

wow. this font is absolutely beautiful. i was awed as soon as i saw it.

knights are popular!! :D but imo a thief and mage w hidden faces would be a perfect trifecta

Exactly what i needed! More characters with obscured faces!!! very useful

LETS GOOOOOOOO ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Make a txt in notepad and save it as .js

Is it possible to do this with otehr equipment too?
