Was not expecting it to turn into a tower defense game, great twist. Nice art, especially the crystal tower. However the game could use more depth, I don't see a reason to mine one specific material over the other, unless you really have an excess of a single material. Also once you have placed all the towers possible, there is really nothing left for the player to do but to wait for game over.
