Just played for an hour instead of working on my own game lol.

An improvement on the OG Blippo in every way, The arena is super nice looking and I like the XP system a lot. Each upgrade you can get with XP feels like it actually does something helpful each time, so I wouldn't say any of them are wayy better than the others (although piercing and knockback are fire).

The art and animations are amazing obviously, each creature having its own movement and functions is really cool and makes the game feel very alive. It took me a bit to realize that the pink guys appear after they leave their orange shell and that's a neat little thing. I'd love to learn where the pink creatures originate from, definitely not to genocide their whole species or anything.

I'm excited that you're planning on adding to the game, because it seems like there's a lot of room to really add whatever to it! I'd love to see the boss fight from the first Blippo game make a return, because the hand as a boss was dope and it would be cool to see an updated version. Another thing I'd like to see is maybe a stats screen when you die, showing how many times you upgraded and what you invested points in. It could be especially nice if/when you add more XP upgrades just so you can review your build and how well you did overall.

I did find this gargantuan bug where Clumbo is okay with being touched, might have to leave a two star review until that's fixed, but I didn't find any other bugs!

This game is super duper cool and I hope some more people find and enjoy it, I'm hyped to keep playing it, awesome job!

Thank you so much! I appreciate you bringing the huge bug to my attention, that as well as all of the other significant things missing from the first game I absolutely plan to add when I can. Great idea for the stats screen as well, I'll definitely add that as a planned feature!

This game has actually been most of the way done for a long while, and it wasn't until a couple weeks ago I realized I should just put it out as it is and add updates occasionally, rather than letting it sit collecting dust in my editor until it's "finished." Hopefully now that I'll be focusing on more incremental progress I'll be able to add updates on a more frequent basis!
