Thanks a bunch, movement will be super duper updated in the next update and selecting limbs will be WAY easier. I appreciate the reply and motivation!

Thank you for telling me your strategy, it really helps with knowing what to improve and tweak! Selecting limbs more easily will be something I'm adding in the next update, you'll be able to switch between each one instead of free crosshair movement across the whole screen, and you'll be able to more easily focus on dodging without sacrificing your attack. I appreciate your review!
This was very very fun! I really like the pixel art style and the enemy designs, almost felt bad slaughtering them, but hey I gotta pay my bills. Each enemy doing something different was nice, and I like the upgrades you could get. I totally would've filled everything with pumpkins but luckily you didn't let me. The pumpkin boss had a lot of health, but his fight was fun so it was okay. I'd like to see more plants if you decide to continue development, and maybe a stats screen after you win to see your upgrades. I'm also making a little boss fighting game called Shmooblin Blaster, if you wanna check it out and leave feedback I'd appreciate it! Best of luck in the jam!
This is neat! I like the idea of having procedurally generated dungeons, just here its a little hard to find stuff, so adding a map or something would be nice if you plan to continue development. I liked the boss designs, the pixel art was cool and well done. The first boss's egg rocket attack was good, It's nice you added a shadow to show where it was dropping. I'm working on a little boss fighting game too, so if you'd like to check it out and leave some feedback I'd appreciate it! Good luck in the jam!
Just played for an hour instead of working on my own game lol.
An improvement on the OG Blippo in every way, The arena is super nice looking and I like the XP system a lot. Each upgrade you can get with XP feels like it actually does something helpful each time, so I wouldn't say any of them are wayy better than the others (although piercing and knockback are fire).
The art and animations are amazing obviously, each creature having its own movement and functions is really cool and makes the game feel very alive. It took me a bit to realize that the pink guys appear after they leave their orange shell and that's a neat little thing. I'd love to learn where the pink creatures originate from, definitely not to genocide their whole species or anything.
I'm excited that you're planning on adding to the game, because it seems like there's a lot of room to really add whatever to it! I'd love to see the boss fight from the first Blippo game make a return, because the hand as a boss was dope and it would be cool to see an updated version. Another thing I'd like to see is maybe a stats screen when you die, showing how many times you upgraded and what you invested points in. It could be especially nice if/when you add more XP upgrades just so you can review your build and how well you did overall.
I did find this gargantuan bug where Clumbo is okay with being touched, might have to leave a two star review until that's fixed, but I didn't find any other bugs!
This game is super duper cool and I hope some more people find and enjoy it, I'm hyped to keep playing it, awesome job!
This is really cool and a lot more fleshed out than I originally thought! It's pretty wild you made three full maps and all those different enemies. I like the style of the game and the art, it all fits together nicely. I'm also making a 2d shooter game, although its more of a boss rush game. It's called Shmooblin Blaster, if you wanna check it out and leave me some feedback I'd appreciate it!
That was cool! I really like that the enemy ships can get obliterated by debris too, and the sounds and graphics look and feel very satisfying. The level up system is really nice, collecting the fragments is cool. My high score was 3,102. I'm making a bullet hell esq shooter called Shmooblin Blaster, so if you'd like to check that out and give me some feedback I'd really appreciate it. Nice game!
Another cool one, this game is simple but fun, I like that all the wheels are animated and the gas cans give health as well as points so you can play for longer. The collisions between the player and the cars feel very nice, forgiving enough that you won't get upset at it. The player sprite looks very cool too! The only thing I would suggest is maybe make the cars delayed a bit at the start if possible, so you have more time to react when you first spawn in. Nice game!
Dude, you made a really cool game! I like the pixel art, and the really crisp animations. The gradually increasing difficulty is well balanced and the enemy designs and bullet patterns are cool. You should really keep making games if you're 11 and making this kind of stuff, It's really impressive. I haven't beat it yes but I WILL!!
This is super cool! The moons also immediately reminded me of Magic Survival, that game is very good. I like the art style and the music, it all fits together very well! The boss walloped me but I'll give it another shot. There's not really anything I disliked, but if you decide to update it, more upgrades and enemies are always welcome! I'm working on a pixel-y shooter game too, called Shmooblin Blaster, so if you'd like to check it out and leave some feedback I'd very much appreciate it! Nice game!
I like the concept! The pixel art is nice and the flame particles look good. It's really really hard to do much to dodge bullets, especially when the enemies are right on top of you and following you, so it sorta turns into an rng game of hoping they leave you alone. I'm not sure how you could simply fix it but the general concept of the game is pretty cool so you should go with it if you decide to add anything! I'm working on a bullet hell shooter game too, called Shmooblin Blaster. It's more of a boss rush game but if you wanna check it out and leave me some feedback I'd appreciate it!
Cool game, gives me early Spore vibes. I personally do like the pixel art style, it might just be the background that throws people off? Like its not all in one unified style. If you want to change the art style I think a Fear and Hunger type art style would fit with the game, but do whatever YOU want! As others said, I think having some indication of what you're supposed to do starting out, and how the upgrades work could be good, just in case. I'd like to see a way to regain health, maybe by killing enemies you get a small amount back. It would be nice to try to tweak the movement a little so its easier to get around. I really like the little bug guys floating around, and how they can eat each other to get bigger. I'm also making a bullet hell shooter esq game called Shmooblin Blaster, so if you want to check it out and leave some feedback I'd really appreciate it! Good luck in the jam!
Neat little game! I especially like the movement of the submarine and how it still retains some motion and spin after you stop moving. If you decide to update it, it would be nice to see some different enemies or environmental hazards, and if the game space was a little bigger it might play better because it feels sorta cramped. I'm working on a shooter with somewhat similar controls called Shmooblin Blaster, Its more of a boss rush game but if you wanna check it out and leave some feedback I'd appreciate it!
The pixel art is very nice! I like the huge volcano in the background and your little water tank! It would be cool if you added an animation for the water hitting the lava rocks. I'm making a little pixel art shooter game too, its called Shmooblin Blaster. Its more of a boss rush game but if you'd like to check it out and leave some feedback I'd really appreciate it!
I like your game! Its simple but I enjoy the art and different enemies that come out to fight you, and having to manage your limited ammo. The different power-ups are cool as well. If you plan to update the game at all, I would suggest pausing the game during upgrading because I accidentally clicked them without seeing it a couple times. Other than that the game is nice and I'd like to see some new enemies as it progresses! I'm also working on a bullet hell type shooter called Shmooblin Blaster, although its more of a boss rush game. If you'd like to check it out and leave some feedback I'd very much appreciate it! Good luck in the Jam!
Cool game! I like the different attacks that the beetle has, the bullet pattern is cool. I also like the pixel art is well done, the vines around the boss bar were a nice touch! If you decide to add anything or update it, I think making the crosshair a little bigger or easier to see would be good as its hard to see in your peripheral as you're dodging bullets. Could just be a skill issue though lol. I'm making a sorta similar bullet hell boss rush game, so if you would like to check it out and leave some feedback I'd really appreciate it!
Hey I like your game! The classic retro arcade feel of it is really on point, and I like the scale ability that gives it that little unique thing. If you're planning on adding anything, I think some health pickups or permanent upgrades could be cool, not super original but I'm sure you could make it better somehow. I'm making a bullet hell type game too, although its more of a boss rush game. If you decide to check it out and leave me some feedback, I'd very much appreciate it. Cool game!
Fun game, I felt closer and closer to a seizure as it went along, but is that really a bad thing? It is neat and I like all the little things on screen you have to dodge, and the difficulty increasing in different ways as it goes along. If you're planning to update the game, I think it could be cool to see the retexturing of the different sprites, just so they have one unified style to them and the game looks more polished. I'm also working on a bullet hell type game, although its more of a boss rush shooter. If you want to check it out and give some feedback I'd really appreciate it! Cool game!
Love your game, I really like the blinking mechanic and the way the difficulty affects the gameplay. Id you're planning on adding more content, I'd love to see a new boss, although with the difficulty scaling, there's basically already multiple bosses which is pretty smart. I'm also making a bullet hell game that's sorta similar to this one, if you want to check it out and leave me some feedback I would really appreciate it! Very fun and challenging game!
Thank you! I thought a password would be best for replayability so you can just remember them and pick up where you left off. I've been working on adjusting the player movement speed and acceleration to something that feels good but stays balanced, so that will most likely change or have upgrades available in the future.
This is awesome, I LOVE the style and the little creatures. Again the art style makes it so much more fun and its pretty impressive that you made it a claymation. The little yellow guys are my favorite even though they always kill me. If this is available for download anywhere I'd love to do that so I can save my progress. It'd be cool to see new enemies and I'm very sorry for touching Clumbo.
Unique concept and and art style, I like the different environmental features that are gradually introduced throughout the game. Some of the collisions of the bounce back pads and spikes feel a little mean sometimes, like I'd get bounced back when I would've made it through a hole, but its not bad and could be my imagination. Fun game!
Very challenging game, I really like the mechanic of gaining jump momentum more in the middle like a trampoline, it gives it an interesting twist that makes it more fun and changes the strategy a bit. I could see it being a good mobile game, if you plan on adding more features I think being able to choose or possibly unlock different sprites for the player and enemies could be neat. I'm also making a bullet hell game although its more of a boss rush shooter game, but hey gotta get feedback somehow y'know. If you decide to play and let me know what ya think I'd appreciate it a lot.
Your art style is very cool looking, I love the animations. I like the enemy variety and meteor attack the Fly Devil has especially. If you're planning on adding more to this game, I think it'd be cool to see some more enemies as the game progresses and maybe somehow make it easier to see where enemies are coming from to give the player more time to react to them flying in (attack indicators?) Very neat little game, I'm making a bullet hell called Shmooblin Blaster with a somewhat similar looking art style if you wanna check it out and give feedback I'd really appreciate it. It's more of a boss rush game though.
This game is fantastic, extremely hard and fun, I love it! I had to stop at the beginning of The Hall because it was sucking up all my time but I'm 100% giving it a download for playing later. I really really like the new things slowly introduced in each level and the movement feels very good to me. The only thing I disliked was the spikes seemed to have some collision on the sides so if you jump parallel to them you would die, but if that's intentional then keep it in! Very enjoyable game, keep making stuff :)
Shmooblin Blaster is a bullet hell boss rush game I'm working on, and its only about 25% done right now with one of the four planned bosses being finished. Feel free to give it a try and let me know what you think!
