for this one, I'll consider it from two aspects, the visual novel and the translation, it will be a long one. Before that though, I have to admit the most glaring issue for me was, for the page of this to be lacking any warnings whatsoever beforehand since this one is... quite NSFW (that adult tag doesn't cut it lol), can get traumatizing especially for those who don't want to get exposed to some specific themes like that beyond their initial/vague expectations (see and check out the example of warnings stated in the sakurabito version, so TWs/heads up for anyone before playing: violence (body harm, including references to physical injury and invasive actions involving the abdomen), abuse (drug and physical, animal and child), suicide, explicit/sexual non-con scenes (including depictions of dubiously-consensual intercourse), confinement, flashing lights, elements of body horror (featuring creatures with disturbing and unnatural forms).

VN: the thing I noticed firstly, the pacing.. can get a bit jumpy and fast, even some endings or events were unexpected, abrupt especially in the beginning, and I still don't understand some of the exorcised souls, matsu(kami) god or whatever, though the mystery and story still managed to get resolved by the end with a true, happy conclusion. (Small nitpicky thing; the song Kagome Kagome played during whenever the third matsukami/kokeshi god I think was unsuitable). A nice surprise that I didn't anticipate was for Ryuji to be responsible and kind since I thought he would be evil/mean towards Yoruichi. Now if we talk about the yandere—star of the vn; Yoruichi, I can state for sure that he was extreme, in a way he would.. um, get so quick in resorting to assault and/or rape the heroine what with the drug abuse hypnosis and everything, I wasn't quite satisfied with the way he treated the heroine honestly, but he did give me the rightful chills, horror and disgust. Plus, the lackluster heroine barely had a soul in her, and since this VN was the type with blank slate protag whose words only got spoken through other characters—in that meaning, she was more of the doll rather than Yoruichi besides the moment she had to purify the matsukamis and the reveal about her at the end where she could've just talked and prevented worsening the trust+abandonment isssues she gave to Yoruichi wayy earlier. It did gave off the amplified despairful disappointment for the bad ends though, haha.

Translation: I found typos (particularly the quest/quess/guess-guest words), incorrect use and discrepancy of grammar, and some untranslated words in Russian with all them combined it can get quite distracting and confusing at times throughout the gameplay, but I do still appreciate the efforts to translate this from native language of Russian which I think the translation team was originated to English done for free of charge, though if you don't mind like a proofreader or something to tidy up more of the translation, I can help out a bit.

There is another translation in the work by someone who already translates for a living! https://gmkz.itch.io/sekimori-gami

yeah, no worries, I followed that account and like I said, sakurabito version was the page that handled the warnings better. Thanks though.

oops, skimmed over that. Thx for the review!
