Fun concept. Thanks for building this up. I am looking forward to the next update.
Some thought:
1. We collect resource every 1/10 in-game-year but eating food every year. This is not very intuitive. Instead of food, collecting offerings for evil entity might be easier to understand.
2. We need a time bar for when the food would be consum.
3. Both library and population boost the income but library has no maintenance cost. I don't see a reason to buy house.
