Pretty fun! I think it might be too easy to escape, I think where the escape is discourages exploration of the cool area which looks pretty good. On the first playthrough I exited because I saw that nothing happened as I was exploring the area, even without escaping. If I didn't read the answer to your question "How does your game fit the theme?" I would have no idea that there were 2 minutes to escape, or that there were enemies who come and swarm you. I think I might have explored for more than 2 minutes and nothing happened, so I'm not 100% sure that any enemies ever come swarm you, but it could be that I got a bug or somehow I wasn't exploring long enough.
I think to improve it that 2 minutes should be made clearer in the game. Preferably by showing and not telling (for example, I prefer it's not just a big block of text at the beginning, and then it's just the same game, it's better to leave it like this then actually without any text). I never saw that swarming happen by the way, but it could be because I escaped the 2nd time, kept walking, eventually just fell out of the world, then exited the game. I liked it better the first time when I didn't escape, didn't even know you were supposed to, and just looked around the cool environment.
Another improvement is it could use some audio.
Other than this I liked the environment and the visuals, very well done on that!
