We created the game in 8 months. That includes research, prototyping and iterations before getting this version. I'd say the programming to get what we have today took 4-6 months. Working ~2 days a week with 3 programmers.
Forsans Theo was the lead programmer. He knew how to divide the tasks between the programmers and answer all the designers' questions. He also made the artists' work easier by developing implementation features. I enjoyed to work with him.
