Hey thanks for the suggestions, and good news! Many people in the discord echo your sentiment on how the horror(H)/porn(P)/mechanics(M) should be handled. I'm currently working on a few of those things right now so they'll be releasing in the next version.
Unfortunately not all of them though, in terms of the game's total available contents (about 30%) there can't be much H and P at such a shallow depth, BUT the next update (v0.6) will be introducing most of the M and a small amount of H elements. Then the final update (v1.0) will have the most H elements as they begin to tie with the story.
Lastly, many people agree with you about wasted potential, myself included (I've been compiling a list of ideas since before early access) and I'm not sure how to say this without bringing up financials. So I'll be real with you too and say:
1. Everything in the game's roadmap up to v1.0 is "set in stone".
2. All the ideas planned to be implemented aren't even half of the ideas on the list.
3. Currently I can't afford to implement everything.
Lastly, I should say 1.0 is by no means the end. The potential is only wasted when I remove it from the list, essentially v1.1 can just as easily be a level pack with new mechanics. But to figure out whether or not this game can stand on its own I'll need it to be released and performing while I'm supporting my other projects. Frankly, as you've said, during this period (and maybe after) it might not be worth the play.
