That was fun! The inverted 2.5D aesthetic is a cool surreal take on the exe genre; the atmosphere is barren, foreboding, and melancholy. The art for the Platformer Hero is a little goofy, but the rest of the art, especially the character art, is proficient, striking, and charming. The ending is great!
I got stuck on the platformer chase for a bit. I kept assuming I had to carefully jump onto each platform to make it the entire way. I didn't realize until a few tries that my whole jump could clear everything! It was much easier then.
The audio balance is a bit off. The music seems quiet compared to the rest of the audio. Some of the sound effects, like the coin sounds and the jumpscares, are a smidgen loud. That one "bump" sound at the end, when it displays the high score, peaked the audio to +2.0 dB!
All-in-all, great work!
