Overall, I'm pleasantly surprised!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and I'm really looking forward to future updates.
Here are some of my personal suggestions for improvement:
- The jumping feels a bit off, and I hope it can be refined.
- The ability to execute enemies was a pleasant surprise, but sometimes the execution doesn’t kill them.
- The boss room for the fire monster is too small — either I kill it instantly, or it kills me.
- I’d like to see some interaction with the bonfires.
- A map would be helpful as I tend to get lost.
- Maybe I’m just not skilled enough, but the charged attack feels lackluster compared to the whirlwind slash.
- The shield bash feels similar, though it works well as a dash with damage.
- The story feels rough. If the protagonist isn’t mute, there should be interactions during the tutorial.
