Hi! So I don't know if this is a problem with itch or me not knowing how to use it lol, but I'm having trouble updating the game. I'm on mac if that helps, but when I first downloaded the game it was on version 0.8.3 and since getting caught up I wanted to update it to the most current version but every time I try it just downloads a new copy of the game and I don't know how to get my saved game to transfer over. It also seems like itch doesn't recognize that I've downloaded it before so that might be part of the issue. Any help would be much-appreciated :)
If you're using Itch's client, then they'd be the ones to help with that, but if you're just downloading the game directly, which it sounds like you are, then all you need to do after downloading the new version is move the save folder from the old version to the same location in the new one, then after checking it's working okay in the new version, just delete the old version.
