One small criticism I have is some kind of dodge move would be really helpful? Just a quick dash in whatever direction youre holding.

For sure yeah.
Alternatively, you can flash the ghosts so you can move past them, but this depends on the room generation (Like the small corridors) and the ghost’s speed.
