There are few pieces of media put out in the world that contain more heart, emotional intelligence, and artistry than A Witch is Getting Married (or, for that matter, FeatherBoy's entry last Spooktober, Trashwing Crowchild). While the subject matter is incredibly (and relatably!) complex and anxiety-riddled, every single aspect of the game feels reassuring and comforting as a cup of warm tea: the soothing soundtrack, the cozy character designs (I want to give them all hugs), the phenomenal backgrounds that seamlessly blend practical and digital artwork--everything feels tactile and alive and imperfectly perfect. The analogy of the sunshower--and the unknowns it contains--is spot-on thematically: a beautiful and bittersweet image which encapsulates a beautiful and bittersweet world.

All told, a brilliant, enormously enjoyable game; I highly recommend it!
