I couldn't get it working either - please in future, reach out to jam organizers if you have problems like this.
It's working now. Tested on windows, at least. Will reach out in the future. I figured it would be considered an extension, so I didn't bother asking. But I still enjoyed making it and got to build my first platformer, so it was a good experience.
