I really am not super into the story changes for the new version. The groundedness of the characters and world felt nice - but now its suddenly a college where you're encouraged to gain? It feels a little too silly for the tone it previously had - and the unique reactions of each character feel weirder and less personal in this lens

Also, story changes aside --- I have found a gamebreaking bug. I'm not sure what triggers it exactly, but everytime I re-meet Rebecca in the gym for the first time, the text window no longer disappears when I try to work.

And no matter how much weight my character gains, nothing changes. I'm 300 kg and still skinny apparently lol

The debugger doesn't apply to the player character as it's not set to grow any specific body part. If that is what you used on the player character then that may be the issue (also possibly my ass code so I'm looking into this right now). As for story changes, yeah I still want to keep it grounded but slightly lighter hearted as I felt limited by the tone I had set previously. If this is the common consensus though I still have the old events and stuff I can work in to make it feel more grounded

thank you for the reply! I did use the debugger, okay I see what you mean. Odd system but I get it.

And its your game, but maybe Id prefer some balance between - it feels like a big jump between the two
