Oh my god this was crazy. I mean, there wasn't any action in chapter 13, but I feel as though I've just read through every fight scene every created, while simultaneously reading the beginning of any detective novel at the same time. AND WHAT WAS THAT WITH MARY? I mean, I share her views. When I play the game, I like to think what I would do in Isaac's shoes. I realized I wouldn't be special for embracing the synthetic life eagerly, nor would I be special in any way if Mary picked me. She probably wouldn't, now that I think about it, but that's not the point. I do share her views. BUT YOU CANNOT ACT LIKE THAT FOG THING DIDN'T HAPPEN! OR THE SHADE TAKING SHAPE AT THE VERY LAST SECOND!!!!
While we're here, I'd also like to bring forth a suggestion for questions at Sedge's library. We know about the (about to be) world changing story of Isaac, but we know very little of the world at large. Could you, by my humble request, add a little worldbuilding segment? A geopolitical explanation of the world at large? How fare the superpowers of old? What about the impoverished countries? Is it late stage capitalism/early stage dystopia, or is the future more authoritarian utopia-like? I would very much like to know!
