I had this issue as well; the freezers under "Meat and Fish" are just empty. And this was the tutorial, so definitely wasn't after losing. So sad! The music, visuals, and other audio (like the squeaking of the cart wheels haha) are really good -- would love to be able to play.
I can suggest that you haven’t checked the side fridges, but if you don’t find any meat in that case, then wait for an update. It’s coming soon. 😉
