So he's also a teacher... I can't really say anything about the scene, I used CTRL to skip it and didn't see or know anything about it. But I didn't save the game or continue afterwards, though, so if I did save, which I'm not sure, it was before the scene. Personally, if Miss Eloies disappears from the LIs list I won't miss her.
I don't see any problem with the teacher (Miss Eloies) not appearing anywhere on the map, in fact it makes it much easier to ignore her.
