I quite liked the box that the text itself was in in terms of it's border, it had that old school fancy vibe that fit the time period, but I felt like the text face you used just read a bit generic and could definitely be more stylized, as well as that I'd get a color palette for your gui assets, preferably something with a limited amount of colors like 3-5, and exclusively use those to help bring it together !!
