As a long term goal, I would love to add it. Especially if it's like one player per turret; I think that would be really fun.

This is a very solid and well put together game! I was very impressed by the atmosphere and presentation of everything. It all feels very professional; it's probably the most polished game I've seen come out of this game jam!
I am very much looking forward to seeing the projects you make in the future. If you were to make a full-length game in the same style as the two you've released, I think you could easily knock it out of the park.
Hey everyone! I'm proud to announce the release of Mr. Frog's Winter Adventure! It's a cute and cozy little adventure game where you play as the ever so helpful Mr. Frog. The village of Toadsville has just recently misplaced all of their ornaments and you have to help the townsfolk find them
Inspired by games like A Short Hike and the Mother series, this game was originally a Christmas gift for my Girlfriend <3 She was going through a really stressful time in her life, so I secretly devoted all of my spare time over the course of 3 weeks in order to make it for her. She ended up absolutely loving it! Soon, we both decided to make a special polished public version for everyone to play!

You did a great job on this! I think you really nailed the atmosphere inside the drill. The spooky industrial sounds mixed with the grinding of the drill really made me feel immersed. Even though the game was short, I think it lasted the perfect length!
Also, I ran into a softlock every time I paused the game. I couldn't select any buttons or close out of the screen, no matter how hard I tried. I ended up having to just quit and restart (I was at the beginning anyway, so no big). I think that should hopefully be a simple fix for a future update though!
Regardless, that was a great game! Keep up the good work!
Thank you for your feedback! I'm so glad to hear your community loves the game! I agree completely with all of your suggestions. I've always loved the Char2C, so I definitely plan on adding that as a boss. I also like your suggestion about the different soldiers. The lack of diversity was mainly due to time constraints, so more soldier uniforms are pretty high on my list! Lastly, I also plan on strengthening the Scout Train. It was actually too strong during development and I overcorrected for it.
If you or anyone in your community have any more suggestions, I would love to hear them! Happy Chinese New Year!
I'm really glad you liked it! I definitely leaned more into the easier side for the difficulty since I know people are trying to play as many games as possible. I didn't want them to get stuck at some part and never finish it. I've played a couple games so far that were too hard to finish for my skill level haha
I'd definitely say this is the most fun I've had playing a game jam game in a long time! The gameplay is very addicting. I always want to get the next upgrade! That's the kind of gameplay I wanted to evoke with Rotting Railway, but I didn't pull it off nearly as well. Great job, I'm definitely coming back to this one!
I really love the art style and I hope you're able to finish it! Sadly, I couldn't play the game too well. No matter what I did, it ran really slowly in my browser (like 5 fps), so I had to stop playing earlier than I would have like to. I didn't let that affect my rating though, since I think I'm the only one having that problem. Really good work!
That was brilliantly done! The atmosphere was great, the sound design was really effective. It definitely got to me at the end. And the twist was really good! The only bit of feedback I can give is that, I wish it would fade to black only after I've pressed spacebar at the end of a sequence. I found myself looking at the visuals too much and had to speed read the very last sentence. But that that is such a small thing and it didn't really drag down the experience. Really great work!
