There are the bones for a decent game here. I think that it needs a lot more direction. Perhaps showing on the map where the exits and crates are, and then building the level as a puzzle around that, rather than having the player wander aimlessly for a while, hoping to find what they need. I couldn't find my way out of the first floor, so it was a little frustrating. Still, there's something solid as a base, so it can easily be expanded on an improved.
