I think the open-world tracks will be included in the sequel or update of this game, if I get to its development.
By the way, at a late stage of development, there was an idea to create a large track, the task of which would be to collect the stars scattered on the track, without time limit. Something like the courses in Super Mario 64. It would have been more fun than linear tracks, but I didn't want to spend more time on development than I already had.
