The game was truly scary and well made.
I found some minor bugs with the book's physics, but it was a good game. Well done.

Book Physics - I know exactly what you're referencing, I'm currently working on version 0.2 at the moment and have re-worked the book physics to not "stick" to surfaces. It made placing and scanning more tactile but also made it SOOOO much easier to lose the book around corners, etc.. Just ran out of time for the jam!
