It took me a couple tries to understand what I was doing wrong, but I was able to beat it in the end. The gameplay is pretty solid, and the art, sound and story are all great. If I can make some recommendations, I think that it would have been nice if retrying didn't make you re-read all of the intro dialogue again, and having some indication of where you can walk, and also that you can't shoot while near the stores would have helped, but those were my only real issues with it.
