There's a sort of really nice "crappy but not crappy" lo-fi quality to some of the sounds you used, like for example the strings, that I really liked.

I can agree with a lot of the things Grunt. already pointed out, especially with not having too much stuff in the low end to avoid muddiness.

The muddiness can also easily come from low end building up in the reverb, which you can alleviate by cutting off some low end from the reverb signal.
