Fun little vampire game 🧛!
GAMEPLAY
The idea/concept of sneaking up on your victims, attacking, and trying not to be seen is a good one. The victims were really alert, but with good timing, you could still sneak up and attack from a short distance. It’s a shame there’s no end goal; that would have been fun. Or different stages/victims/hunters. But of course it was a short jam and not so much time. Maybe in an update. The hunters weren’t very dangerous as I could just walk away. Perhaps they could be a bit more persistent in tracking you.
VISUALS
The self-made pixel art was nice. The atmosphere, along with the sounds, matched well. It was maybe a bit dark, but that also served as a safe spot for the vampire.
AUDIO
The audio and atmosphere and sfx were well-suited to the game.
THEME
The theme was definitely incorporated, playing as a vampire.
Overall a solid jam entry. Well done 💪
