It's a really cool concept!

The art and animations are fantastic! The parallax background turned out really well. The alligator chomp was really well done.

I liked being able to use the fishing pole in multiple ways, like collecting different materials.

I think I ran into some bugs that kinda shortened the game (but it's totally ok, I get it!). I couldn't seem to catch more than one fish, and I wasn't able to collect any other materials like rocks or branches from the trees, so I'd die when the alligator came along.

The fishing minigame was fun! I would have liked to see some feedback on whether a fish was caught or not. Even if it's just a green checkmark or a red X because I wasn't really able to tell if I would get one.

I definitely want to try out the crafting if you choose to keep working on this game (if not, no worries!)

Nice work!

Thanks for playing, the game worked fine and all the resource gathering and crafting was fully functional until I exported it and everything just broke, and I'm not exactly smart enough to figure out why things don't work when exported that did work in the godot editor. Maybe one day it will be fixed
I did play your game though and had a great time playing :)

Ah no worries! I totally understand having the random tech issues.

Thanks for checking out Swamp Stew!
