Hello I've had some success skirting around the bug by opening the menu using {X} button and then opening any of the options in it. before closing it and opening it again using the mouse menu. It solves that issue most of the time.
I will make sure to recommend this workaround for other people that may have the same issue, thanks for telling me this!
