The core web idea is pretty great!! With more time for level design, movement polish etc this could turn out into a pretty interesting game! I really liked it! good job! Btw this reminds of Donkey Kong Country 2 which i love :D When you controlled the spider u had a similar mechanic where you stopped webs! Check it out if u want to,it's gonna be a great inspiration ^^

Wow, that's amazing that you said that because that's actually the series that I took inspiration from for this game. Originally I was planning on doing something similar to the minecart levels in those games, but I ended up with this instead since I wanted a "bug" of some sort in my game. DKC is definitely one of my favorite game series of all time.
