Well it can pull more that way although I have some experience in that sense, the "disposable" options would be to save them and convince them to join us to deliver them to the hyena brotherhood as you said, but they could also be sacrificed to the cult (why lose our souls when we can offer the souls of others in return).
Those would be the disposable ones for the moment unless you add something similar later.
The others obtan by being more good or neutral.
As it would be to convince them to join us and that would make them live together and from here there would be more juice, because I could know their work and help (obviously by doing that the debt would grow more but you can reach an agreement for more time in the best case).
Now here I enter my approach and it is that depending on our lust or corruption we could have many more choices because whether we start alone or with a partner we could teach them a new life (corrupt them), and either turn them both into followers or pets.
Who knows how to sell one to keep the other or start an open relationship there is a lot to touch.
