There was another issue I saw when I tried to progress the game, the overworld has no places to go, like when I press explore town, nothing is there, the park, train, observatory, those arent available
This is a common bug that happens when you try to load saves from prior to 0.19, I reccomend using the content skip feature and starting a new game to solve this
