Ah, so you also kept using Mini-WakuWaku for Japanese? For Kanji, maybe you should mix it with M+ Rounded 1c.
Right now missing glyphs in mini-wakuwaku are replaced by Noto. The mix of angular and rounded does indeed look a bit weird when used together.
I agree that M+ would probably fit better with the miniwakuwaku hiragana. Maybe it will happen some time...
