Right-click the settings.pngtp file and open in whatever simple text editing program you prefer (Notepad, TextEdit—whatever your system has). It should look like this. "secondsToMicReset" is the value you want to adjust.
Have the same problem. Set mic reset to 10 and now everything works smooth. Thanks for lead. PS Sadly, it's just delayed the problem for a few minutes... i don't get it.
