hi, SGS. nice skirmish you’ve offered here. some feedback on the demo version:

There seems to be some cooldown between attacks which i’d like to see indicated somewhere/somehow. sometimes i go to attack and it doesn’t trigger and i’m left to wonder why.

meanwhile, i see no reason to do anything other than Slice to win? and, winning is not guaranteed with this method (and i do like to Jump for the fun of it) so i appreciate the challenge you’ve provided while, my thought is, if you’re going to include features and options like the various attacks, make them somewhat necessary for success. otherwise, where’s the gold i was promised? i expect it’s “in the mail”?

Tip: there seems to be a substantial load time for the game. i’ve seen other godot games with more media inside load much quicker which leads me to believe you’ve kept the music (at least) at a higher quality (and/or longer) than necessary for a web game? i tend to export .ogg at the 8/10 setting to help with that.

otherwise, the game is good, as is. if you have time to continue work on it, i’d love to see it evolve.

I am sorry for the late response but I just got done with looking through the comment. I see what you are talking about and do plan on making those changes.

 I plan on adding a cooldown bar for the player and enemies attack cooldowns, show how much gold the player earns on the match when they win, update the enemy to be a better threat to give the player a reason for the other attacks, and look into my files and sounds to make the load time quicker.
