ah, i'm ~1/2 that speed. something to work toward! thanks :)

i love the idea but 2 suggestions: 1) i'd make sure all edges of the ears reach the rings, 2) give it all a white border so the black ring is obvious/apparent for those like me who view in dark mode. otherwise, CoO has come so far and you should be very proud of that :)

fun little game. was glad to see in-game progress saved but would like to have my longest run recorded as well or ?? for replay-ability. if you continue work on this, i'd like to see something a little more unique for each fairy unlocked beyond the skin and, perhaps, game should start immediately on Select? otherwise, well-made, solid gem of a game. glad i stumble across it :)

as long as the jam Rules allow Teams (or doesn't disallow them), it's completely proper for you to offer your skills and interest within a jam's Community similar to what you've posted here. also, many jams have a Discord server that will generally include a "looking for teammates" channel where you can offer your services or connect with others looking for contributors such as yourself. and, speaking of Discord, consider joining the Itch.io server if you haven't already. you'll find a looking for team channel, there, as well.

and, while you are free to Join a jam, only one member of a team submits the project from their account. with that, it would be proper for your username (and link to your profile) to be included on the project's page/credit be given for your contribution which i recommend you build up your profile to showcase a little of what you do. perhaps a spotify or youtube preview of music you've made, etc, would be ideal. or, if you have a few tunes that you'd like to make available already, consider making a project page and posting them there.

re: WAV files specifically, i don't know about other devs but WAV files are generally overkill, to me, especially for a Jam game (i dont like huge files/packages when they dont have to be huge). i prefer .ogg myself but that is something you can discuss with any dev/team you might collaborate with.

great start to a game and loved the art. i did use the candle and found a “1” which i assume has to do with the PIN that everything else seemed to require but i got no further.

the mechanic played well so i hope you continue this or spin it off to a more-complete game (followed in case you do :) ).

i thought i was doing great until i realized i was in demo mode :) after that, i was able to score ~5-6 points and a lot of fun but think it could be a little more forgiving.

ie, even if hitting a tree caused a 2 second penalty vs complete game over, the continued play would be fun. i am unsure if you will be continuing development, but i’d also like the opton to skip entering my initials for scores lower than my best to dive right back onto the slopes.

still, a festive 12 seconds and nice submissions. the premise is great and it was enjoyable.

i’ll be upping the speed to see if i can beat my high score and invite anyone else to knock me down the snow bank :) and, it would be a big help if we can change speeds during the game via the keyboard; using the mouse/button to do that costs us a lot of valuable time.

thanks for playing :) and, yeah. the reveal is only slightly helpful. maybe just look at the first few cards and/or look for an obvious roadbloack where, say, a very low card is followed by an even lower one?

nice submission. i found a guy who wanted to free a giant but never found an exit or a way to help the giant? also a little unclear if mashing z+m gave me more speed? still, good start. add a little clarity and a sfx or 2 and i’d be glad to revisit Groombo’s Lab :)
