I actually talked about narrows paths like this:
But they could be engine limitations, so it's ok. You could place some visible "place holder" or "under construction" or story backed element to passages not yet meant to be explored by player to tell them outright. This way players will see intention and will not ask whether it is a bug or not etc.
I lost every fight against Krosch. I think he's hard. And his response about losing every fight did not match up with the result.
I just checked:
Launching the game outside of Itch launcher does start the game instantaneously. The boot up process is noticably longer via Itch launcher. Weird!
And even more weird is the fact that starting the game as admin fixed the crashes (tested one fight). AND starting the game without admin afterwards had some crashes, still, but not 100% of times. 🤷
No shade at you particularly but admin rights to properly play any modern game should not be required anywhere (other then prereq setups). I don't want to give apps downloaded from the internet these privileges and I don't recommend any friend of mine to give apps these kind of privileges. From a security and UX standpoint I hope you figure this one out!
I forgot the mention:
Please implement save slots. I bet your had many things like this on your list, already.
A max FPS feature (default 60) could potentially help in people reducin load, power consumption and maybe address coil whine (if there is any). My monitor runs at 240 and therefore the games is at 240. It's not much for me, but my PC is a beast anywhay.
