This does not appear in my game (itch.io version 2.0.209.33 reinstalled fresh in empty folder on linux, debian distro.) regardless of saving to... <Game Folder>/CoQ_Data/StreamingAssets/DLC/PetsPack1 ...or... <Game Folder>/Mods/PetsPack1 Advice?
Hey. Figured this out by checking mods documentation. For linux, placing the files in... ~/.config/unity3d/Freehold Games/CavesOfQud/Mods/PetsPack1 ...worked.
