Do you mean the phrase "surtitles"? That's actually a thing at the opera (also called supertitles), the translations of the text are displayed above the stage, instead of below.
Idk anything about Opera. I'm referring to a written copy of spoken words in a movie called subtitles. However if you're comfortable with this, it's the only grammatical error I think I've seen so, as you wish.
