do choices even matter? there is no difference at all when i pick them and no indication if my choice raised points or not which is boring ,  how come no one wants to mention skip button ignores unread content? makes it hard to use when you need it

I yet to know if the choices matter, but understand it just started, you're not going to know if they really matter. Also no one mentions the skip button because there is settings option to it, you're allowing it to skip unread content. If you want to skip, without missing anything, just tap skip periodically. You skip some dialogue, but nothing major.

Bro, it’s like you’re reading my mind. I do have plans for some stats to have an impact in the future, but honestly, I’m not sure if players will even notice, haha. For me, developing the story takes priority over everything else.

I deeply regret that the game made you feel uncomfortable. After all, this isn’t a raising sim or a sandbox-style game, but rather a visual novel that leans more towards a single narrative direction. Considering my limited capacity as a solo developer juggling several part-time jobs, I’m unable to handle the workload of creating multiple branching routes. This inevitably leads to longer development times, which is unfortunate if the game has left you feeling bored.

As for the skip issue you mentioned, so far, your feedback is the only one I’ve received on this. Perhaps, as another comment suggested, you may have set an incorrect option in your settings.
