It depends on what hardware your PC has. But you can run on older systems if you use the dx11.bat file located inside the game install directory. It forces dx11 to run as the renderer instead of dx12 which can be hard to use on systems around the 2020 year age.

No; I bought it through GOG, which lists a GT 650M "or similar" as the minimum (https://www.gog.com/en/game/sapphire_safari). The interwebs tell me this card is equivalent to an RTX 4050, which benches above the 650M. https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-RTX-4050-Laptop-vs-Nvidia-GeForce-G...
I guess I'll be returning the game. You should get GOG to update their store page.
The Mac book 3 pro doesn't have any sort of dedicated GPU though right? Unless you have a customized system at least that's what store pages for the laptop tell me.
But if that is the case then you should have zero issues running the game (not a Mac guy so I dunno how it would play tbh). All I can say is that if your running a side loaded windows and the game it shouldn't be an issue unless it's not correctly connecting to your GPU drivers. Not sure.
As for the gog page I do not control what they put there so they likely pulled it from some other site. But I'll talk to them about it.
