Because some users have photosensitivity? Myself, as well as hundreds of people in my stream got headaches from the game and I couldn't finish it because of the flashing and terrible filters over the game.
actually, when you start playing horror games, you always should be ready to some flashing lights and similar stuff, so horrors are not recommended for sensitive people, in fact.
This is one of the craziest takes I've heard from an indie dev. I have played hundreds of indie and AAA horror titles. Enjoy having less players try your game I guess? 👍
I always make games which I would like to play myself, and I always put my vision in my games, and if you dont like it, it doesnt mean the game is bad. Every game has its audience :)
