The idea of having a solid beat and bass to support the "bad connection" effect works really well. The two parts complement each other. A very solid mix, very deep. I like how you used the 9/4, it took me a while to understand how you subdivided it, I hear it as 4+1+4 which is really cool because that 1 looks like it's the end of a 5/4 but then te bar keeps going. Really nice

Thank you! Supporting the "bad connection" was exactly what I was going for with the bass and drums! The way you count it is definitely the way to count the drum part but I mostly count it as "dum pa dum pa dum dum pa dum pa" lol. I tried using the semi-open hihat hits and ghost notes to "hide" the switchup in the middle of the bar and I find that it works really well! The reverse piano part that comes in at the last section is actually counted as 3+3+3 which I find gives it a lot of energy!
