The lack of clear controls on day one would be an oversight that should be mentioned, but again FREEWARE INDIE GAME.  Nobody is paying for it so no need to be super harsh about it.  Be polite and cordial to the devs who work tirelessly to make something awesome.  If you paid money for it then feel free to never hold back and let em have all the critique thrown in their face, HOWEVER this is a freeware game and not even f2p but ACTUAL freeware.  A rare gift in this day and age.

"Hey dev I noticed the controls aren't listed and it is difficult for those without a QWERTY keyboard layout to play, so requesting the controls be listed and rebinding capability be put into the game thx"

Doesn't take a lot to be polite.  People forget that online.  These kinds of hostile hateful people towards indie devs are the reason that 'gamers' get such a bad reputation.  Be better than that.

I really do appreciate the response and I completely understand where you're coming from, but the comment was directed toward me and I was not offended by it. In fact, this is criticism I was already willing to take after some of my friends had playtested the game and were confused by the controls. This individual likely changed their binds after posting the comment and moved on, but that was still a negative gaming experience for them, and one that they helped other people avoid by commenting. If I hadn't done playtesting, this comment may have been my only clue that the controls were awkward/ inconsistent at times.

They may have been a little annoyed, but I didn't read the comment as hostile or hateful. I got thick skin! I don't need sugar coated criticism, OC's tone was fine.

Thank you btw. You're clearly very passionate about the game/ indie development. Have a good one
