They're kind of right, considering at the time of release the controls weren't even on the page lol. At the end of the day it was a game they wanted to play <3

Sorry for the late reply, but yes that sounds great! I'm glad you enjoyed the game; I need to take another crack at the concept some day

Problem solved! Thanks for posting your save, and again for the bug report. Nice party btw. There'll be a patch going up soon where you can (finally) complete your run. Also new is MP restorative items, which I sadly neglected to implement. I also added a high score board to the title screen so you can keep track of your clears. (If your curious, the score is based on your average party level and Meseta accrued)

Are you in the 7DRL Discord? Maybe you can DM me your save file, there are occasional mismatches in save data from me trying to redo my json formatting in the 11th hour lol

Your art is really nice! I recently had a go at making a blobber, maybe I could join you?

Oof, sorry about that Centauer mishap on floor 16. There's a patch out now which fixes it, and should also open the door for you since you already killed the boss (let me know if it doesn't). Sucks to get so close to clearing only for a bug like that to happen.

I'll also think about adding shortcuts, or at the very least rest stops/ shops in the dungeon/ maybe a hard-to-get dungeon exit item.

As for the skipping animations  bit, I could certainly do something like that for the movement with ease. Implementing such a feature in the battle system, however, would be a bit more problematic. I'll look into it.

Thanks for the feedback!

And I've love to do the Dungeon Crawler Jam but I'm unsure if I could get all the dungeon screens animated and whatnot to my liking. All of Phantasy Star's assets are online and the rendering logic for the dungeon view was well documented, so all the heavy lifting of figuring out perspective, animations and etc was pretty much done for me. Maybe if you know an artist ; )

This blog post is 4 years old and I have no idea what Arcbond is, but I just wanted to say; I've been wracking my brain for days on how to cleanly implement auras into my Action RPG, and this helped me out immensely. Now I feel like an idiot for not thinking of something so simple lmao, I even already have buff/debuff constructors with duration variables and everything, so I won't even have to do much to get Auras working. Thanks a bunch!
