Look pretty deep and complex, especially for the jam! It would be great to know the stats or maybe some core differences for the units? Also, to be honest, I don't feel like time-freezing every few seconds is in any way better than pause when player wants it... It doesn't really add much challenge, more like annoyance of it freezing when you don't need and not freezing when you need. Also - the art and music are great!

We debated how the freezing should work.
But since we had an original goal of being a turn based game, then it wouldn't really makes sense to have the turns controlled by the user.

I think one could change the game to be a bit more like FTL.
